About the Recipe
This recipe is a great way to use your persimmon harvest! Persimmon bread is similar to banana or pumpkin bread.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups persimmon pulp
5 TBSP butter
1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 F
Step 2
Put the persimmon pulp, eggs, sugar, and melted butter in a blender and blend well.
Step 3
Mix the flour and baking soda together.
Step 4
Mix the drys and wets, do not over mix.
Step 5
Put the batter in a parchment lined bread pan, then bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
